virtual world trailer

This video trailer was intended to create a sense of intrigue and curiosity to encourage visits to RM’s Virtual World website. I used After Effects, 3D modelling (swift 3D) to create and treat the shots, then edited the movie and added music created in-house by a fellow Webbie.

Can you get everyone across the water safely?

MPU

I based this game on the popular ‘Chicken Crossing’ puzzle (when a man has to get a fox, a chicken, and a sack of corn across a river). I was responsible for all of the design and Flash/ActionScript work. The man has a rowboat, and it can only carry him and one other thing….well, that’s the theory!

Severn Trent Water ‘Thought Provoking’

Though Provoking

Awards:
Winner, 2007 RAD - Best Website
Winner, April 2006 Ri5er

I worked with and AD, writer and fellow developer to create this site - adding animations, sound effects and using an unusual navigation in order to achieve a fun, engaging feel. I also designed and built interactive features such as a bath based game and interactive water saving feature. We also made a simple content management system so that the content could be kept up to date throughout the campaign. In a two-month period, the website received more than 7,000 visits. In total, 963 applications for the scheme were received, and all positions were filled in time for the September 2006 start date.

Cosmic Numbers

Produced in 2004, Cosmic Numbers is a multinational award winning website designed to aid children at Key Stage 2 Mathematics level with the use of fun flash mini games and activities. This was a really fun team project to work on…I enjoyed creating the games and making it fun for children to learn Maths.

Cosmic Numbers won first place in the Siggraph Educational Committee International Student Multimedia Competition. The entry work Cosmic Numbers was featured at the 2004 Siggraph Conference in Los Angeles.
